Meet Braden
I started dancing at just three years old, and dance quickly became a huge part of my life. Through years of competitive dance, I had the opportunity to train in a variety of styles, perform, compete, and learn first hand the discipline and dedication that come with pursuing dance at a high level.
I continued my dance career dancing for the College of Charleston Dance Team, where I served as captain and proudly earned a Division 1 Hip Hop National Championship with my team. My college dance team experiences shaped not only the dancer I became, but also the teacher and coach I am today.
After college, I found my way to Jackson Hole, where I have spent the past several years continuing to teach and coach. I currently coach the Jackson Hole High School Dance Team, working with dancers as they develop their technique, performance skills, confidence, and ability to work as a team.
I love watching a dancer work through something they once thought they couldn't do and eventually realize they can.
The Vision
I believe great dancers are built on a strong technical foundation. Technique provides dancers with the tools to move safely, confidently, and intentionally, but technical training is only one part of becoming a well-rounded dancer.
At 22 Dance Company, dancers will have opportunities to explore a variety of styles while developing discipline, confidence, musicality, creativity, and artistry.
I believe in creating an environment that is supportive and encouraging while still maintaining high expectations. My goal is for every dancer to leave class feeling challenged, accomplished, and excited to keep growing.
My goal is to eventually build a full-service dance studio in Jackson Hole, offering a wide range of styles, levels, and opportunities for dancers of all ages. As the studio grows, I hope to develop a strong competitive program alongside recreational and foundational training.
While 22 Dance Company is starting small, the vision is anything but small. I want to build a studio where dancers can learn, grow, challenge themselves, and find a lasting love for dance - whether they dance for fun, for competition, or with dreams of pursuing it beyond the studio.
